Past hurts – whether from overwhelming events or smaller, repeated experiences – can sometimes stay “stuck” in our mind and body. EMDR helps your brain reprocess these memories so they no longer control how you feel today.
You get up every morning, push through the day, and check off the boxes. On the outside, you’re responsible, capable, and maybe even admired.
But inside? You feel like you’re constantly bracing for something to go wrong.
There’s an ache you can’t shake, a voice that says “You’re not enough” – and no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough to quiet it.
“Other people have it worse. I should just be grateful.”
“I can’t let people see the real me.”
“If I stop, everything will fall apart.”
Therapy can be the place you put down the weight, even just for an hour, and learn new ways of living – where peace and joy aren’t just something other people have.
If you’re tired of being strong all the time, let’s talk.
Your first step can be as simple as sending a message.
If you’re ready to start walking toward hope, I’d be honored to walk with you.
Reach out today to take your first step.
You believe in God. You’ve prayed, read Scripture, and tried to “give it to Him.”
But the anxiety, shame, or sadness still lingers – and you’re tired of fighting it alone.
Some days, you numb the pain with substances, scrolling, food, or habits you never thought you’d turn to.
They work for a moment, but leave you feeling empty and guilty afterward.
“Why can’t I be stronger?”
“Does God still see me?”
“Will I ever be free from this?”
You’re not broken beyond repair. Your struggles don’t disqualify you from God’s love. And you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be a space where your faith and your healing journey meet – where grace, truth, and practical tools help you find freedom.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist™
Hi, I’m Celine. I know how hard it can be to look fine on the outside while struggling inside. You don’t have to carry that weight alone. This is a safe space to be real and begin healing.
I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
I welcome you to reach out.
My approach combines proven therapeutic tools (EMDR) with deep respect for each person’s values and life story. Whether faith is a part of your journey or not, my role is to walk alongside you – helping you heal, grow, and live in a way that feels true to who you are.
A typical session lasts about 50 minutes. In our early meetings, I’ll gather background information to better understand your life experiences and how they shape who you are today.Together, we’ll discuss your goals for therapy and create an individualized plan to help you move toward them.
I offer teletherapy for clients across Michigan and California through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that’s easy to use from the comfort of your home. For those who prefer to meet in person, I also provide sessions in Troy, Michigan, in a calm, safe, and private setting.
I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Many clients, however, are able to use their out-of-network benefits to receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions.
I can provide a monthly statement (often called a “superbill”) that you may submit to your insurance company. Your insurance provider will then determine whether you are eligible for reimbursement and at what percentage.
When calling your provider, you may want to ask:
* Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
* What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
* Is there an out-of-network deductible I need to meet first?
* Are Telehealth sessions covered?
Choosing to remain out-of-network allows me to provide care that is more private, flexible, and tailored to your needs. Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and may limit the number or type of sessions covered. By working outside of these restrictions, we can focus fully on your goals and healing process without added constraints.
